Florida Reimbursement for Telehealth

Florida does not have a telehealth parity law in place, it was not passed becuase lawmakers are workign out how to include out of state licensed providers. Even so many healthcare providers are already actively using telehealth in their Florida practices. Please consult with the individual insurance companies to see if they will cover the session. Florida’s Medicaid programs do reimburse providers for real - time live video telemedicine appointments.
