To fix the OmniJoin error message:  "Unable to install web components"

You will delete the OmniJoin folder and re-install OmniJoin.   Note: any user can do this fix.  See instructions below.

 

For Windows 7 and Windows Vista only  (See below for Windows XP)

1. Copy this text:    %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Brother   (to copy, select the text and press <ctrl> <c>)

2. Click the Windows "Start" button

3. Paste the text into the white box "Search programs and files"  (to paste, press <ctrl> <v>) and press <Enter>

4. Right-click the "OmniJoin" folder and delete it.  (Are your sure? = Yes)

5. Click this link  to install OmniJoin, then click "Run"

6. Allow the software to install by clicking "Next" or "Yes" when prompted.

7. Type "Accept" for the License Agreement

8. Type your regular Meeting-ID and Password when prompted.  You are done!

 

Windows XP only

1. Copy this text:    %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Brother  (to copy, select the text and press <ctrl> <c>)

2. Click the Windows "Start" button, then click "Run"

3. Paste the text into the white box (press <ctrl> <v> ) and press <Enter>

4. Right-click the "OmniJoin" folder and delete it.  (Are your sure? = Yes)

5. Click this link to install OmniJoin, then click "Run"

6. Allow the software to install by clicking "Next" or "Yes" when prompted.

7. Type "Accept" for the License Agreement

8. Type your regular Meeting-ID and Password when prompted.  You are done!
